How we make money
The short version: we do not use affiliate links right now, sponsored posts are always labelled, and none of it costs you anything extra.
Affiliate links
She Gleams does not use affiliate links right now. If we add them, the retailer may pay us a small commission when you buy through one of our links. The price you pay would be the same whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly, and we will update this page first.
Sponsored posts and pins
- When a brand pays for a story, it is labelled “Sponsored” at the top of the page and names the brand.
- Sponsored pins on Pinterest carry Pinterest's Paid Partnership label.
- We still write the copy and only feature products that fit our readers.
How we mark paid links
Every affiliate or sponsored link on the site carries rel="sponsored". That tag tells search engines the link is paid, so it does not pass ranking credit the way an editorial link does.
What this doesn't change
- Commissions never change the price you pay.
- Brands cannot buy an unlabelled spot in our stories.
- Our editors choose the looks we cover.
