What you can expect from every story on She Gleams.
How we choose looks
We cover the hair, nail and outfit looks readers search for and ask about most. Every post aims to answer the same practical questions: what the look is called, who it suits, and exactly what to ask your stylist or nail tech for.
Who writes our stories
Every story has a named author with an author page, such as Mira Sethi, our Fashion Editor. Our editors choose the looks and write the copy.
Images, including AI-generated ones
Many of the look images on She Gleams and on our Pinterest boards are AI-generated by our team to illustrate a style. They are not photos of real clients, real salon work or specific products, and Pinterest shows them with its AI label. When we show a specific product for sale, we use the retailer's own image or our own photo of it.
Sponsored content and affiliate links
- Sponsored posts are labelled “Sponsored” at the top and name the brand that paid for them.
- Sponsored pins carry Pinterest's Paid Partnership label.
- Paid and affiliate links are marked rel="sponsored" so search engines know they are paid.
- We write the copy, even on sponsored posts, and only feature products that fit our readers.

Accuracy and updates
Prices, availability and product details change often and are controlled by retailers. We update posts when we find changes and show a “Last updated” date on every story.
Corrections
If something is wrong, email contact@shegleams.com with the page link. We fix errors as quickly as we can and add a note to the post when a correction changes its meaning.
